Town of Gingles
July 9, 2025
Meeting Minutes

The regular monthly meeting was called to order by Chairman, Patrick Colgrove. Tom Riemer, Bill Pearce and Traci Beiersdorff were present. Absent was Laura Martinsen, excused. Three people were in public attendance.

The June, 2025 minutes were presented and a motion was made by Tom Riemer, seconded by Pat Colgrove to approve them as written. All in favor, motion carried.
The June, 2025 treasurer’s report was presented and a motion was made by Bill Pearce, seconded by Pat Colgrove to approve the report as presented. All in favor, motion carried.

Comments by Clerk/Board – A motion was made by Bill, seconded by Pat to move up building permits. All in favor, motion carried.

Building Permits: Building permits were submitted by Haillie Stuart and Donna Miller. After board discussion, a motion was made by Bill and seconded by Pat to approve both permits. All in favor, motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS
Beaser Road Project: Progress is continuing and its hopeful it will be completed before the Red Clay Classic.

Airport Reclamation Project: The south end of Ashland-Bayfield Road is not holding up well despite their best efforts. Pat has a meeting tomorrow with the project engineer to discuss. Pat will also continue to check on the road condition.

NEW BUSINESS
MOE and SL-305 Report: Pat reports that this has been filed on time per the Clerk.

County Bridge/Culvert Aid Policy: Pat said the County wants a decision soon as to whether or not Gingles will be accepting. An exact cost to the Town is not known at this time. After further discussion and without more information, the Board is not comfortable entertaining a motion at this time. Tom will get more information for the August meeting.

The regular monthly board meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 7 p.m.
The bills were submitted and authorized to be paid by the Board.
